Tuesday Day 2

Wednesday Day 3

Thursday Day 4

Friday Day 5

Dear Parents,

Afternoon pick-up has become a bit difficult lately. I ask that all parents pull up all the way through the parking lot so that we can have cars off of the road.  There seems to be a lot of space between cars–so if you can pull up all the way to the front door and try not to leave too much space between cars–this will help to avoid a line on Spofford Road.  Thank you!  Have a wonderful week!

Green Team Update!

Written by 6th grade student, Erin Winship:

This month, the Green Team has been working very hard on many things that we are very excited about. In the Green Room, we have been growing vegetables that we are selling during the week of May 18th, as part of our first annual plant sale. The money raised from the plant sale will go towards next year’s Green Room.

The Green Team is also very excited about our trip to the State House on May 11th to receive the Award of Excellence from the Massachusetts Secretary of State for all our hard work with energy conservation.

This month’s tip from the Green Team is “Don’t be a Drip”. This tip encourages everyone to conserve water and use it wisely. For example, you should shut off the water while you are brushing your teeth or take shorter showers. Remember, keep the earth clean and stay Green!

Looking for Field Day Volunteers!

We are looking for 14 parents who would like to volunteer to run a station during our field day. It is a super fun day to be with the students!  The requirement for this is that the volunteers need to commit to staying for the entire day.  Field Day is on June 23rd with a rain date of June 24th.  We are also looking for one parent who would like to coordinate supply requests that we will be making of parents (i.e: balloons, bandanas, water, plastic spoons).  Please email and specify if you would like to volunteer for the actual field day or if you are interested in volunteering to coordinate the supplies.

Thank you!
