SUMMER READING BOOK CLUB for students entering 7th, 8th or 9th Grade
Please call 978-887-2323, X-6114 to reserve a space for your child!
This summer, Masconomet will again offer the unique opportunity for students entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grades to participate in the Summer Reading Book Club. Erika Donovan, a Masconomet teacher, will spend one hour reading and discussing one of the assigned summer reading books from each grade. This is a fantastic opportunity for readers to be supported, as they read and gain a deeper understanding of the book prior to the start of school and the summer reading assessment.
- Incoming 7th Graders will meet from 9:00 – 10:00 to read and discuss the book All Fall Dow by Ally Carter.
- Incoming 8th Graders will meet from 10:00 – 11:00 to read and discuss the book Anya’s Ghost by Vera Brosogol.
- Incoming 9th Graders will meet from 11:00 – 12:00 to read and discuss the book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, by Mark Haddon.
