Tri-Town Council asks…What’s in YOUR lifepack? Fill it with Assets!

The benefits of spending time outside in nature are well documented – it can strengthen your immune system, induce a sense of calm, boost mood, and improve relationships! In fact, nature makes you nicer! How? Studies have shown that when people are outside, they are more likely to share, feel connected to friends and family and are more generous.

AND the TTC Asset Connection is…Asset #31: Interpersonal Competence – Child cares about others feelings, enjoys making friends and when frustrated or angry, knows how to calm him/herself.

TTC Asset Tip: Take it OUTSIDE! Make time to play outside with your children! Play a game of tag in your yard, shoot some hoops at the park, take a walk in the woods with your family, or ride your bikes around the neighborhood. You’ll have some fun and you’ll be fueling your child’s Interpersonal Competence Asset!
